Hahahaa!!! What a funny joke!!! This people are so creative where mostly all brands of cigarette (in bold) were combined and became a funny story. Ok, let me interprets some name of cigarette in Malay languange into English to complete this story, especially for English readers. 'Gudang Garam' if we translate into English means 'Salted Store' that refers to 'a**hole' and 'SAMPOERNA' means perfect.

I came from the city of Marlboro, in the Salem high country.I Always carry a Mild Seven and rode on a White Horse going to Kingsway in Kent. Here I want to show how it can be made in Windows XP:

1. Find the 'hosts' file in your computer
---> C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts

2. Ensure that the file isn't "Read-Only"
---> Right click 'hosts' file and select Properties. Make sure the "Read-Only" attribute is unchecked.

3. Open the 'hosts' file by Notepad from a list of programs.
---> Once you have the hosts file opened in Notepad, you will see the line written as below:

127.0.0.1 localhost

4. To block an unwanted web page, add the sites below the 127.0.0.1 localhost.
---> e.g: To block www.youtube.com

127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 www.youtube.com

5. Save the 'hosts' file when you have finished.
---> Go to 'File' and click 'Save'.

Now try open the websites that have been added (for blocking) in the 'hosts' file. Your web browser will deny it and the pages cannot be open.

This is a true story. Last week was my 40th birthday and I really didn’t feel like waking up that morning. I managed to pull myself together and go downstairs for breakfast, hoping my wife would be pleasant and say, “Happy Birthday!”, and possibly have a small present for me. I worked in a zombie like fashion until about one o’clock, when Joanne knocked on my door and said, “You know, it’s such a beautiful day outside, and it’s your Birthday, why don’t we go out for lunch, just you and me.” I said, “Thanks, Joanne, that’s the best thing I’ve heard all day. Let’s go!”

We went to lunch but not where we’d normally go. Instead she took me to a quiet bistro with a private table. We had a couple of mixed drinks and I enjoyed the meal tremendously. On the way back to the office, Joanne said, “You know, It’s such a beautiful day… We don’t have to go right back to the office, do we?” I replied with “I suppose not. What do you have in mind?” She said, “Let’s go to my apartment, it’s just around the corner.”

After arriving at her apartment, Joanne turned to me and said, “Boss if you don’t mind, I’m goinna to step into the bedroom for just a moment. I’ll be right back.” “Ok.” I nervously replied. She went into the bedroom and, after a couple of minutes, she came out carrying a huge birthday cake…

Followed by my wife, my kids, and dozens of my friends, and co-workers, all singing “Happy Birthday”.

Hey! Have you watching this good movie? If haven't, I think you should go watching it. It is the rare sequel that rises above the original, and in this case it's able to rise over its title, too. The main characters from the first movie are all back, along with the original voice actors (plus a few new ones, including the late Bernie Mac), but the story and jokes are refreshingly new and different.

This is a movie full of laughs, from crude ones at the fact that the animals' rear ends are rendered in way more detail than necessary, to a great joke based on a geeky reference to a classic science fiction TV show episode (any more detail might spoil the joke, and I don't want to risk that—if you're a geek, just trust me, you'll get the joke and you'll laugh). The penguins are just as hilarious as they were in the first movie, with their ultra-serious military-style behavior boiling over into even more ridiculous situations than before.

Takut aku dibuatnya apabila mendengar khabar harga minyak mungkin akan dinaikkan buat kali ke-2 pada bulan Ogos 2008 ini. Dengar kata, harga minyak yang baru mungkin RM4.00/litre. Usah percaya dahulu dengar khabar ini, mungkin hanya khabar angin, TAPI tidak mustahil jika ia bakal berlaku kerana harga minyak di pasaran dunia semakin meningkat.

Dengan kenaikan minyak sebanyak RM0.78, dan dijual dengan kadar baru RM2.70 telah menimbulkan pelbagai reaksi yang kurang menyenangkan daripada peniaga dan pengguna, apatah lagi jika dinaikkan sekali lagi kepada RM4.00. Haru-biru keadaan dibuatnya.

Takut, sungguh takut. Kenaikan harga minyak boleh memberi impak yang besar kepada masyarakat dan negara terutama kepada golongan rendah dan sederhana. Apa yang paling membimbangkan ialah kadar jenayah berkemungkinan akan meningkat dan ramai rakyat akan hidup sengsara, terus sengsara. Andai ku tahu, kapan tiba masaku...

The new price of petrol is RM2.70 per litre beginning midnight tonight, it was announced a moment ago by Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Shahrir Samad. Diesel will go up by RM1 per litre while the price for ULG 92 per litre went up by 74 sen. The 78 sen hike or 40 per cent increase for the ULG 97 petrol is still below the antiticpated RM4 per litre price projected earlier and among the cheapest in Asia.

What we have to do?

Buy small car or motorcycle is better.
Fill-up your gas early in the morning or late at night (it would help a bit, and never ask me why).
Don't go back from work during jam hour.
Never go to jam places.
Use public transports if you think it is much cheaper (I know it will take your time longer from one place to one place. Tired huh!)
Last but not least, buy mountain bike!

Female Heart Attack

If you've read this before, please be sure to pass on to your female friends. If not, please take a minute. If could save your life or someone else's. We received this via email and decided to post into this blog for sharing knowledge.

She said she didn't feel well and had a back ache and was going to lay down on the bed with the heating pad. A while later her husband went to check on her and she was not breathing. They were not able to revive her. This is something we women should definitely take seriously. Please pass this on to those you love.

I was aware that female heart attacks are different, but this is the best description I've ever read ......... Women and heart attacks (Myocardial infarction). Did you know that women rarely have the same dramatic symptoms that men have when experiencing heart attack... you know, the sudden stabbing pain in the chest, the cold sweat, grabbing the chest & dropping to the floor that we see in the movies? Here is the story of one woman's experience with a heart attack. I had a completely unexpected heart attack at about 10:30 PM with NO prior exertion, NO prior emotional trauma that one would suspect might've brought it on. I was sitting all snugly &warm on a cold evening, with my purring cat in my lap, reading an interesting story my friend had sent me, and actually thinking, 'A-A-h, this is the life, all cozy and warm in my soft, cushy Lazy Boy with my feet propped up.'

A moment later, I felt that awful sensation of indigestion, when you've been in a hurry and grabbed a bite of sandwich and washed it down with a dash of water, and that hurried bite seems to feel like you've swallowed a golf ball going down the esophagus in slow motion and it is most uncomfortable. You realize you shouldn't have gulped it down so fast and needed to chew it more thoroughly and this time drink a glass of water to hasten its progress down to the stomach. This was my initial sensation--- the only trouble was that I hadn't taken a bite of anything since about 5:00 p.m.

After that had seemed to subside, the next sensation was like little squeezing motions that seemed to be racing up my SPINE (hind-sight, it was probably my aorta spasming), gaining speed as they continued racing up and under my sternum (breast bone, where one presses rhythmically when administering CPR). This fascinating process continued on into my throat and branched out into both jaws.

AHA!! NOW I stopped puzzling about wh at was happening--we all have read and/or heard about pain in the jaws being one of the signals of an MI happening, haven't we? I said aloud to myself and the cat, 'Dear God, I think I'm having a heart attack!' I lowered the foot rest, dumping the cat from my lap, started to take a step and fell on the floor instead. I thought to myself 'If this is a heart attack, I shouldn't be walking into the next room where the phone is or anywhere else...... but, on the other hand, if I don't, nobody will know that I need help, and if I wait any longer I may not be able to get up in moment'

I pulled myself up in the arms of the chair, walked slowly into the next room and dialed the Paramedics... I told the lady who answered that I thought I was having a heart attack due to the pressure building under the sternum and radiating into my jaws. I didn't feel hysterical or afraid, just stating the facts.... She said she was sending the Paramedics over immediately, asked if the front door was near to me, and if so, to unbolt the door and then lie down on the floor where they could see me when they came in.

I then lay down on the floor as instructed and lost consciousness, as I don't remember the medics coming in, their examination, lifting me onto a gurney or getting me into their ambulance, or hearing the call they made to St. Jude ER on the way, but I did briefly awaken when we arrived and saw that the Cardiologist was already there in his surgical blues and cap, helping the medics pull my stretcher out of the ambulance. He was bending over me asking questions (probably something lie 'Have you taken any medications? ') but I couldn't make my mind interpret what he was saying, or form an answer, and nodded off again, not waking up until the Cardiologist and partner had already threaded the teeny angiogram balloon up my femoral artery into the aorta and into m y heart where they installed 2 side by side stents to hold open my right coronary artery.

I know it sounds like all my thinking and actions at home must have taken at least 20-30 minutes before calling the Paramedics, but actually it took perhaps 4-5 minutes before the call, and both the fire station and St. Jude are only minutes away from my home, and my Cardiologist was already to go to the OR in his scrubs and get going on restarting my heart (which had stopped somewhere between my arrival and the procedure) and installing the stents.

Adlin Aman Ramli Semakin Dibenci?

Banyak dah baca pasal Adlin ni, ramai yang benci dia sebenarnya. Semua gara-gara sikap kasar dia terhadap pelajar-pelajar Akademi Fantasia 6. Terutama sekali di dalam konsert akhir, apabila beliau memberi komen terhadap Toi dan Nubhan. Yang paling kesian sekali pada Toi lah, dia bukan dikomen tapi kami rasa dia dihina. Masakan keluar kata-kata yang bebunyi seakan-akan begini "Ko kalau bagus dari dulu ko dah bagus...". Mungkin Adlin ni terasa dirinya terlalu besar di dalam bidang seni hingga boleh mengeluarkan apa saja daripada mulutnya. Yer lah, taulah kami, tapi setinggi mana pun kita, sehebat mana pun kita, sikap hormat-menghormati perlulah ada di dalam diri. Tak kemana kehebatan tu, kerana takder siapa yang hebat di dalam dunia ini.

Lagi satu yang kami amat perasan, dia suka memanggil pelajar lelaki dengan kata ganti 'kau atau ko' dan membahasakan diri dia 'aku' tetapi berlainan pulak dengan pelajar perempuan 'i, you, awak, saya', lembutlah pulak.

Bukannya penonton tidak suka dia tetapi sikap dia yang suka memberi komen dengan cara yang amat kasar hingga boleh mengguris hati penonton baik di dewan mahupun di rumah (macamana agaknya hati pelajar yang kene komen tue?). Memang wajar dia berkongsi ilmu bersama pelajar-pelajar tetapi mestilah kene caranya. Jangan hanya memberi komen mengikut perasaan tetapi perlulah berfikir dahulu sebelum bertindak.

Entahlah! Mungkin artis-artis zaman sekarang akan berbuat apa sahaja untuk menjadi tumpuan ramai. Kalau kita perhatikan dalam rancangan realiti yang lain, ada juga yang berperangai buruk sedemikian malah ada yang lebih teruk daripada Adlin. Nak cari glamour kot?

p.s: Kami memang tak minat kat Adlin nie sejak dulu lagi, sebab rasa dia nie perasan bagus lebih-lebih lepas gigi dia dah lurus.

Pulau Batu Puteh Belongs To Singapore

THE HAGUE, May 23 (Bernama) -- The International Court of Justice here today ruled Singapore has sovereignty over Pulau Batu Puteh while Malaysia owns Middle Rocks, and South Ledge belongs to the state in whose territorial waters it is located.

The judgment brought to a close a 28-year-old territorial dispute between Malaysia and Singapore over the island which Singapore called Pedra Branca, Middle Rocks and South Ledge.

Pulau Batu Puteh is located 7.7 nautical miles off the coast of Johor's Tanjung Penyusuh.

Both countries have pledged to abide by the decision of the ICJ, the principal judicial organ of the United Nations, whose decision is final and not subject to appeal.

Malaysia and Singapore have also repeatedly emphasised that whatever decision handed down by the ICJ, would not strain ties between the two neighbours.

The judgment was delivered by ICJ Vice-President Shawkat Al-Khasawneh, who was the Acting President in the case, at 10am Netherlands time and ended reading out the verdict five minutes before noon.

The delivery of the judgment was televised live by RTM from The Hague, Netherlands.

Shawkat and 15 other judges had heard oral submissions by both countries from Nov 6-23 last year more...

I received 3 SMSes early this morning telling me that I had won an RM14.000 cash cheque from ASTRO MALAYSIA and was even asked to call their foreign 13-digit office phone number to confirm and collect my winning prize.

But, I am so curios and not that stupid to call the foreign number because we were warned not to fall for such an obvious swindle and I also:

Using postpaid line Not prepaid line.
Never join any contest via mobile phone.

The SMS was sent by +60128421973 and sounds like this.

"TAHNIAH! Prepaid Anda Berjaya Memenangi Cek,-RM 14.000,-Dari ASTRO MALAYSIA
Sila dial Nomber Talian Office: 0062817744679 Terima Kasih."

Now take a look at the SMS clearly. Look at 'Memenangi Cek,-RM 14.000', the amount number is wrong!
Please notice 'Sila dial Nomber Talian', and where is the mistake? Yes, the Nomber! This word never exist in any dictionaries unless it was created by this SCAM Team.

If you received the same SMS please delete it immediately and never call the given number because they will ask for your bank account number. After they get your bank account, your money in the bank account will gone. They will steal your money via digital media (money transfer) from your account to their account. What the heck!

Please forward this message to everyone you know and save people from being cheated by SMS SCAM.

But, I don't think you will get the right answer. Why? Because i personally think this contest is ridiculous. It is because everyone have different answers for different route from one place to another.

To join the contest is very easy, where we only have to eat at KFC and then 'get a map of Malaysia', but we are not given which route to use. Although we use our car to travel from one outlet to another 12 outlets, I believe we will never get the answer as same as theirs.

If you still interested to join the contest, eat at KFC (1 form for each RM15.00 and above), and use 'map of Malaysia' or google map to calculate the distance in km from one outlet to another (the 12 KFC outlets). Remember! You have to calculate for each different route and of course you have to submit a lot of forms with different answer to be a winner.

Filem kurang menjadi

Sudah muncul menerusi beberapa buah filem namun filem-filem yang dibintanginya sering kali menemui kegagalan. Di mana salahnya dan apakah punca di sebaliknya dia sendiri kurang pastinya. Mengakui kecewa dengan senario tersebut tetapi Fazura pasrah dan menggangap semua itu ada hikmahnya. “Bohonglah jika saya katakan saya tidak kecewa. Tapi mungkin belum tertulis lagi filem lakonansaya berjaya di pasaran. “Saya sendiri keliru dengan kehendak penonton. Saya tak tahu apa sebenarnya yang penonton mahukan. “Yang pasti saya tetap akan bekerja keras untuk memastikan filem-filem yang saya lakonkan diterima oleh semua pihak. Mungkin belum rezeki tapi saya yakin masa akan mengubah segalanya,” tegasnya. Dalam pada itu, Fazura menyatakan hasratnya untuk membawa watak yang lebih mencabar dalam filem-filem lakonannya pada masa depan Saya amat berharap dapat membawa watak berat seperti perempuan gila atau pembunuh. Saya nak sangat rasa apa yang dirasai perempuan gila. Saya nak mencuba pelbagai watak sebab saya mahu menjadi seorang yang versatil,” katanya penuh mengharap.

Symptoms of mesothelioma may not appear until 20 to 50 years after exposure to asbestos. Shortness of breath, cough, and pain in the chest due to an accumulation of fluid in the pleural space are often symptoms of pleural mesothelioma.

Symptoms of peritoneal mesothelioma include weight loss and cachexia, abdominal swelling and pain due to ascites (a buildup of fluid in the abdominal cavity). Other symptoms of peritoneal mesothelioma may include bowel obstruction, blood clotting abnormalities, anemia, and fever. If the cancer has spread beyond the mesothelium to other parts of the body, symptoms may include pain, trouble swallowing, or swelling of the neck or face.

These symptoms may be caused by mesothelioma or by other, less serious conditions.

Mesothelioma that affects the pleura can cause these signs and symptoms:

chest wall pain
pleural effusion, or fluid surrounding the lung
shortness of breath
fatigue or anemia
wheezing, hoarseness, or cough
blood in the sputum (fluid) coughed up

In severe cases, the person may have many tumor masses. The individual may develop a pneumothorax, or collapse of the lung. The disease may metastasize, or spread, to other parts of the body.

Tumors that affect the abdominal cavity often do not cause symptoms until they are at a late stage. Symptoms include:

abdominal pain
ascites, or an abnormal buildup of fluid in the abdomen
a mass in the abdomen
problems with bowel function
weight loss

In severe cases of the disease, the following signs and symptoms may be present:

blood clots in the veins, which may cause thrombophlebitis
disseminated intravascular coagulation, a disorder causing severe bleeding in many body organs
jaundice, or yellowing of the eyes and skin
low blood sugar level
pleural effusion
pulmonary emboli, or blood clots in the arteries of the lungs
severe ascites

A mesothelioma does not usually spread to the bone, brain, or adrenal glands. Pleural tumors are usually found only on one side of the lungs.
